Subject: Good Memories

Unfortunately, I wasn't at this show, but I did see a lot of BT shows between 1994 and 1996. I remember hearing about this run of shows, the return of the two-set shows, on (I think it was called) bt.net. The set list for this show is amazing, especially considering the sudden and not altogether welcomed (by the BT fans) rush of MTV notoriety at this time. The Travelers and Thieves tunes are beautiful. Anyway, this brings back so many memories, not just of Blues Traveler, but of college, being 19, figuring things out, falling backwards off a cliff (figuratively) when I listened to Blues Traveler. I remember hand-writing the lyrics to the Best Part in my freshman dorm room and sending them to my girlfriend at the time. Love of My Life, Support Your Emperor, Ivory Tusk, Regarding Steven, and Lucky Lack give this show five stars just for being on the set list. But they are also played with heart-felt passion, simplicity, and golden energy. This is Blues Traveler showing their fans that they still have it. Now I remember.
